Every year we give our Bordeaux Negociants instructions to compile an extensive (hundreds of wines) on the following instructions…
Appellation – Vintage – Ratings – Price…
They compile a list for our initial review. We spend a several months in back & forth communication eventually reducing the selection to circa 100 wines. Samples are flown to NZ and our tasting panel go through a comprehensive review of the wines… tasting them twice over two days before selecting our Top 30 (31 this year). Prices are negotiated, quantities confirmed, and orders placed. The wines are shipped FRESH in a temperature-controlled container to NZ and delivered to Fine Wine Delivery’s temperature-controlled warehouse at Lunn Ave, Mt. Wellington.
There are Bordeaux REDS to suit everyone’s style and budget priced from $15.99 to $199.99 bottle. Vintages range from 2016 to 2022.
Bordeaux Superieur - Cotes de Bordeaux – Haut Medoc – St Estèphe – St Emilion – Pomerol – Pessac-Leognan – additional sub-regions – plus a couple of Sauternes for good measure.
Few Bordeaux red wine lovers can afford the frightfully priced 1st to 5th Grand Cru Left Bank Reds and their Right-Bank quality equivalents... even when bought en-primeur.
