Complex herbal and earthy notes on the nose, with wood smoke, cherries, and red currants. Succulent and very richly fruited, the palate has a subtle wild thyme note and elegant herbal thread, the tannins very fine and perfectly harmonious. Fully mature now, its drinking beautifully now through to 2025.

The tannin holds the wine in place perfectly, and it manages to come across with everything in harmonious balance even whilst being so powerful and opulent.
