Grant Taylor has been crowned World Champion Pinot Noir winemaker in London 4 times... a record unmatched in NZ, maybe anywhere? Grant was one of the first Otago winemakers to understand, define and escalate sub regional terroir differences in the wider Central Otago region. A wine of elegance, power, charm, with savoury, forest floor, sandalwood and toasty notes layered upon red fruits, cherry stone and notes of red and black liquorice. A silky, supple palate with fine grain tannins adding texture and structure. This is so incredibly enjoyable now but do save a few bottles to enjoy after 2030 and over the next decade when it will really start to sing.

Amazingly elegant and refined with a subtle power; a wave of red and black cherry, berry and plum fruits infused with savoury and baking spices glide seamlessly throughout the palate. The extensive finish is rich, savoury, and silky. Probably the most immediately drinkable of the Valli range this year, yet one senses it will only get better and better through 2035."

Valli Pinot Noirs are always small production with limited stocks – buy while available at special release prices. They will cellar beautifully for 10-15 years.
