Description
Considered by most to be the finest value in the range, the Green Label is an incredibly complex blend of malted whiskies, none of which are younger than 15 years. It is a unique blend of 4 signature styles from 4 of Diageo Groups best single malt distilleries, Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila. It is actually a blended malt of great finesse and complexity and does not contain any cheaper grain whisky like some of its rivals. This is definitively one of the best value, award winning whiskies you can buy. Amazing stuff for the price! The canny scots love it of course.
Smells
There are aromas of delicately smoked violets, sandalwood and cut grass, interwoven with espresso coffee and maraschino cherries.
Tastes
flavours of flamed autumnal fruits in honey, vanilla and white pepper with a medium bodied palate flowing into cereals, chocolate and hints of walnuts. A long finish with spicy, honeyed and oaky nuances.
