Description
A 50/50 blend of Grand Cru Chardonnays from the Côtes de Blancs and Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims, the Millésimé is only made in the very finest years. The 2012 vintage is heralded as one of the greatest in decades, low yields, cooler growing season with an Indian summer produced very high-quality grapes. This 2012 vintage release is 8 years in the making and captures the house style of lightness, freshness, and elegance.
Smells
An ethereal nose with florals, fresh pineapple, apricots, and toasted almonds.
Tastes
Exceptionally clean with biscuit, toasty notes accentuating the white peach and apple flavours, a suggestion of plum sustaining the finish, buoyed by a delicate and persistent bead. Perfect drinking now but will cellar well in ideal conditions. Serve with fresh seafood or white meats.
