A style pretty much unique unto Australia alone, “Sparkling Shiraz is a tricky balancing act between succulent fruit, subtle sweetness, understated oak, lush tannins and lively acidity, and Kym Teusner has nailed it in this 2010.
Smells
vibrant blueberries meet liquorice and dark chocolate with fresh coffee grinds and tobacco leaves.
Tastes
its lively, fresh and fruity but delicious combination of primary fruits; blackberries with black liquorice straps complimented with toasty, vanilla oak, earthy, forest floor and leather nuisances. Its big in fruit weight, flavours and a creamy mouse with a long finish. Amazing drinking now with roasted BBQ red meats.
