Norm $120... April only offer @ $88.99

Second ever release and another huge 97/100 from Bob Campbell MW - Aged 7-years this World Class Bordeaux style Red is $120... our April only offer is $88.99

Puriri Hills of Clevedon may be NZ's best kept secret, but for those in the know this cult winery is well worth watching out for. Voted NZ Winery of the Year in 2020 by The Real Review - Bob Campbell MW & Huon Hooke. They have been making exceptional Bordeaux Blends since the late nineties, inspired by the top right bank wines of Pomerol and St Emilion, only at a fraction of the cost!

This is the second ever vintage release of their Harmonie du Soir ( previously named Reserve ), and 2014 was two in a row for exceptional North Island Red vintages. Once again Master of Wine Bob Campbell has bestowed an almost near perfect score of 97/100 on this new release, and there's already a 5-Star rating from Michael Cooper. Sadly, there is never a huge quantity of wines like this with less than 300 cases produced, making it a rare collector's item and a must have for any serious cellar owner.

Aged to perfection as always - they only ever release their wines when they feel they're ready, but there's still an easy ten years of cellaring ahead of it. Made with a blend of 42% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 17% Carmenere, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Malbec.

Complex, concentrated layers of rich fruit, fine tannins and refreshing acidity make this wine appear far fresher than its 7 years of ageing would imply, and is a tell tale sign of its long term cellaring potential. It is pure and elegant in fruit and structure, with just a hint of some savoury characters starting to unfold now. This is a masterclass wine and a dead ringer for Top Quality Right Bank Bordeaux...only its proudly kiwi made, right here in Auckland!

Whether you are buying this as a smart cellaring investment, to mark a momentous celebration, or to enjoy as a truly outstanding wine experience in the future...this is a once in a lifetime wine, that is extremely limited in stocks and will be snapped up by investors and cellar owners. So, secure your share TODAY and enjoy a very rare cult kiwi masterpiece, for the bargain price of just $88.99. Cheers!

The second release of Harmonie du Soir… Many wine aficionados consider the Puriri Hills wines to be some of the best in the country, all the while maintaining their ‘cult’ status. Bob Campbell MW rated this wine 97/100 and FWDCo agree 100% with this very near perfect rating. There are very few wines in New Zealand better than this and very likely none at this money – rich, smooth Merlot notes are bulked up by the Cabernet family with Malbec helping to bolster tannin and weight, the wine is great upon release but will reward with 10+ years of careful cellaring. “Harmonie du Soir” means Evening Harmony in French and trust us when we say everything is in harmony when this wine is consumed.

Beautiful fragrances of wild flowers, pipe tobacco, cedar, cassis, dried plum, leather, violet, soy... So much going on and so pure. A dead ringer for top Right Bank Bordeaux.

Succulent, supple and concentrated, with layers upon layers of generous fruit, fine tannins and bright, refreshing acidity. Just so pure and elegant with savoury nuances beginning to emerge now, but the freshness of the wine is remarkable and shows why Judy doesn't like to release her wines until they're ready. This 2014 Puriri Hills Reserve will be seriously long lived, and at this special price, you simply can’t have too much of it. Savour now through 2030 (and likely beyond).
