Description
A case of Old World meets New World, a joint venture between Australian winemaker Nerida Abbott and Laurent Delaunay from Burgundy. Won over by the diversity of terroirs of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, they have worked relentlessly to produce the finest examples this region has to offer. A tire d’Aile from Corbieres
Smells
impressive colour leading to a deep, brooding bouquet of blueberries, blackberries, chocolate and bramble, mixed with spices, liquorice and violets.
Tastes
Impressive wine, rich, ripe and full bodied, however this wine has vibrancy and poise at the same time. Robust, mouthcoating tannins and gentle acidity envelop the fruit perfectly, giving balance and harmony. The best of both worlds. One for the cellar or drink after decanting with lamb or beef.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
