Description
With almost 40-year old vines, the low cropping fruit is handpicked and traditionally foot trodden to ensure the best free run juice is taken; then it comes under the winemaking stewardship of 4th generation family winemaker Chester Osborne, who has been awarded Australian Winemaker of the year on several occasions. The end result in the bottle is a generously flavoured, deliciously ripe and true to variety Grenache that typically has achieved Gold.
Smells
Wildflower, fruitcake, prunes and spices are abundant in the glass.
Tastes
On the palate it immediately delivers that richness and big flavour that quality Grenache will give you. The tannin and acid balance is very smart and it finishes with loads of juiciness and a touch of dark chocolate. Enjoy now through 2026.
