Description
Es Lo Que trabslates to English as “it is what it is” hence this being 100% Garnacha (grenache) is sourced from high altitude vineyards (1000 - 1100 metres above sea level). Old vines of up to 100 years of age produce tiny yields with the resulting fruit is intensely concentrated, powerful and dense. The hand sorted bunches are fermented in open top concrete fermenters and aged on lees for 20 months. The resulting wines is very structed, dense and complex – this is powerful grenache at great price (for the quality).
Smells
Fields of wild violets, wild blackberry with hints of baking spice and dried thyme
Tastes
Full bodied and dense with characters of blackberry pie, cassis and dried thyme. A powerful wine with rounded tannins and impressive length. Enjoy with red meat or pungent cheeses or cellar for 10+ years from vintage.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
