Description
With more than 30 generations and 700 years behind them, the Frescobaldi family are one of the great winemaking families of Tuscany. The Nipozzano Riserva Chianti is 90% Sangiovese and spends 24 months maturing in seasoned oak. An elegant and stylish wine that comes alive with food.
Smells
An intriguing and delicious nose showing hints of anise, leather, cured meat, sour cherry and sage.
Tastes
Elegant and medium-bodied in the mouth, hints of cola, florals, and cherry fruits through to a fine, finish, with tart summer plum flavours and fine spicy oak. A classy drop that will pair perfectly with pasta and red meats between now and 2027.
