Description

Named after vibrant young dancer Caroline Plummer, who was tragically taken far too early, Ostler Caroline's Pinot Noir is an iconic Kiwi Pinot Noir that captures its namesake's grace and elegance. Often compared to Chambolle Musigny in the Cotes de Nuits, it's an elegant and delicate style of Pinot Noir, all about juicy red fruits and exotic spices, as well as the famously limestone laden soils of the low-yielding hillside vineyard.

Smells

Haunting florals and red fruits with an abundance of exotic herbs and spices. Quite gorgeous.

Tastes

Super soft, supple and silky in the mouth, this is a Pinot of amazing beauty, concentration and length. So approachable in its youth, it will continue to become more savoury and subtle over the next 10 to 12 years.
