Description

Mission wines began in 1851 and were the first NZ winery to barrel ferment Chardonnay almost 30-years ago... they know Chardonnay as well as anyone. This very tasty Vineyard Selection Chardonnay is made from a mix of Mendoza and Clone 15 Chardonnay vine fruit and is largely tank fermented for freshness with a portion of richer barrel fermented juice added back to complex and enrich the blend later...

Smells

Stone fruit, melon, spice, vanilla and citrus.

Tastes

Ripe nectarine and fresh melon in a creamy core with tastes of vanilla spice, hazelnut and pineapple adding weight to the tangy finish. Very quaffable by itself, also enjoy with creamy pasta dishes.
