Description
Jeff’s monogamous relationship with Champagne was tested on his Spanish Wine Tour in 2007, the fine Cavas showing off qualities that were unavailable in NZ at the time. Bargains like this are what Cava does so well. Perfect with a selection of cheeses, Jamón Serrano or Ibérico, or simply ideal as an evening starter or finisher. Made in the traditional method like Champagne, this Spanish Cava is made from Garnacha and Monastrell and is juicier and rounder than most of its French counterparts. Striking value.
Smells
Abundant red fruit! Cherries, strawberries and rasberries with a hint of rose.
Tastes
