Gewürztraminer

Gewürztraminer means ‘Spicy Traminer’ or ‘Perfumed Traminer’ and it might be the most easily recognisable white wine grape. Your typical Gewürz displays exotic aromatics like rose petal, ginger and lychees and pairs magically with Asian cuisine. Usually best enjoyed in its youth, it comes in a range of styles from very dry to very sweet, so be sure to read the tasting note!
