Description
One of our favourite value red wines in the store, Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel brings big flavour, old vine (60-80 years old) complexity and opulent smoothness at an affordable price. The vineyard is dry farmed (no irrigation) aiding the depth of concentration found in this affordable Zin.
Smells
Lots of explosive berry aromas with liquorice, blackberry, raspberry, and chocolate.
Tastes
Filled with cherry and boysenberry flavours, it's big and generous but with very soft tannins and a warmth that makes it very moreish. Plenty of complexity and length, it will be great for quaffing on its own or with smoky red meats. Drink now to 2026.
