Description
Loop Road wines are the brainchild of master-craftsman Rudi Bauer and the wider team at Quartz Reef. Rudi has over 30-years’ experience and is a legend of Central Otago, so many great wines have been produced under his sought-after Quartz Reef label. The Organic and bio-dynamically grown fruit for Loop Road is sourced from vineyards in the Bendigo and Pisa sub-regions, all north sloping vineyards. It is Central Otago Pinot Noir full of vitality and charm… it literally sings on the palate. You could call it a “Happy Wine” apropos its purity and balanced fruit. The final x-factor is Rudi’s classic and thoughtful winemaking. Loop Road Pinot Noir is exceptional drinking and buying.

Enticing floral, plum, fresh dark cherry, forest floor and spice aromas.
Tastes
Fruits of the forest create a medley of delicious flavour sensations throughout the palate, enriched with complex cedar and spice notes from the time spent in fine French barriques. A beautiful thread of juicy acidity gives lift to the silky palate and the very fine tannins harmoniously complete the experience. It has all the charm you expect from the master, Rudi Bauer.
