Koparepare (Maori for gift or contribution) is produced and bottled by Whitehaven, and it helps to fund the work of LegaSea, a non-profit organisation committed to protecting New Zealand’s marine environment. ‘This is our gift to future generations – for every bottle sold, we donate $1 per bottle to the cause’. That is reason enough right there to buy a case as it’s something we all need to support for our generation and future generations.
Smells
a lifted floral bouquet with red berry fruits, stone fruit with shortcake and cream notes on the finish.
Tastes
Generous and round with raspberry, strawberries, watermelon, candyfloss, and peach flavours, finishing clean, refreshing and long with a gentle underlying creaminess. Not only does this wine taste great, but it will make you feel even better because you are supporting an excellent cause, do yourself and NZ’s oceans a big favour. Drinking perfectly now and will drink well with cheese and smoked salmon.
