Description
The Roaring Meg wines of Mt Difficulty have long held a mantle for exceptional value from Central Otago. The fruit for Roaring Meg comes from the Cromwell Basin off vineyards owned and managed by the revered Mt Difficulty viticulture team. The label was launched many years ago, with the Rose being a relatively new addition but still being equally affordable whilst maintaining a premium quality. This may well be Central Otago’s top Rose.
Smells
Pouring a beautiful blush-pink (12-hour Pinot Noir skin contact), with bright aromas of fresh rose petals, freshly picked strawberry, watermelon and shortbread.
Tastes
Juicy and plump with notes of ripe red fruits, namely raspberry and strawberry, finishing crisp, clean and dry. Enjoy from the fridge this summer and through to 2024 with canapes and cheese platters.
