Description

Expressed perfectly on the Framingham website: ‘Nobody’s Hero is our salute to the rebels, the radicals, the offbeat and the underground. Those with unorthodox methods and crazy ideas. Those that celebrate their individuality and are brave enough to express it’. There’s a bit of that in all of us, but it usually takes a glass of Nobody’s Hero to bring it out and this Pinot Gris will do it. Deliciously ripe, unctuous, and moreish. For the price will be everyone’s hero, especially considering the quality, top notch.

Smells

Divine ripe pears, honeysuckle, beeswax, shortbread biscuits with hints of cinnamon quills.

Tastes

The oily, viscosity and texture is superbly satisfying, making this a cut above the rest. A riper expression of Pinot Gris that commands interest and respect, exemplified by the stone fruits, green melon and nectarine flavours and well-balanced acidity with a crips refreshing aftertaste. The finish is exciting and long as this wine is about firm phenolics lacing the components seamlessly together. Drinking now and made for roast chicken or other white meats.
