This beautifully crafted gin comes from Moncalieri in Piedmont, Northern Italy which is famed for its many stunning wines. However, the prominent lemon zest aromas and flavours are from lemons harvested from the beautiful Amalfi coast south of Naples and the legendary Island of Sicily. There is now evidence that gin began in Italy in the 11th century created by monks on the Salerno coast. This sensational gin which dates back to 1906 is a poetic vision which would have those early pioneering monks sighing with joy. This stunning gin is almost a part of the ancient and very beautiful Italian landscape that you simply must try. 'Multo benne'!
Smells
