Maison (the House) Gardet has been family owned since its inception in 1895… their focus on best fruit, higher use of aged reserve cuvees and longer aging on lees in the bottle (3+ years) to produce beautifully DRY Champagne. 3+years aging on lees is longer than most BIG budget, BIG production Grand Marque NV Champagnes regularly promoted in supermarkets. This gorgeous Champagne is a blend of Champagnes “black grapes” … 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier – 100% Premier Cru fruit. The berry freshness offers a delicious contrast and lift to the rich lees aging complexities. Mouth-wateringly fresh and dry it’s hard to put your glass down. Gorgeous as an aperitif, but so versatile with food too. We ship and store under temperature control to maintain its scintillating freshness.
Smells
A seductive mix of floral, citrus, berry, toast, almond aromas explode from the glass, a complex and enticing welcome to the glass.
