Description
A delicious Prosecco brought into New Zealand by former All Black John Kirwan, don't be fooled by the Extra Dry labelling, since this style is in fact slightly sweeter than Brut. The wine is beautifully crisp and balanced though, with an abundance of orchard and tropical fruit flavours building to a mouth-watering finish. A gorgeous example from the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG zone.
Smells
Fresh, bright scents of lychee, peach, apple, grapes and blossom.
Tastes
Juicy, expressive and vibrant with a delicate mousse that sparkles across the tongue, the hint of citrus sweetness fleshing out the middle and finishing clean and crisp. Easy drinking style that is the perfect aperitif before an al fresco lunch.
