Description
Prosecco has taken the world by storm of late. A less expensive alternative to Champagne, a more fruity style, typically with a little bit of sugar but less acid than Champagne, making it infinitely drinkable. Prosecco is made from the Glera grape, native to Italy and made in 9 provinces within the regions of Veneto and Friuli and is named after the village of Prosecco.

delicate aromas of pears, honeysuckle, sherbet and fresh apple juice.
Tastes
Prosecco is all about pure fruit expression rather than complexing characters due to ageing on the lees (dead yeast). Hints of green gage plums, kiwifruit, avocado and lemonade fruit suggesting the fruit was harvested early capturing freshness and purity. Combined with the creamy mouse, soft acidity and moderate alcohol (11%) make the perfect refreshing avo wine, or any celebration; wedding (the gold packaging is perfect for any wedding), or get together.
