Description
A delicious organic Malbec from the famous Mendoza region, Argentina. Grapes were sourced from various terroirs and altitudes in and around Mendoza, resulting in a wine with complexity and the perfect expression of the variety and the place in which the grapes were grown. The previous vintage was awarded 92 points by James Suckling and we think the 2021 will score much higher. An excellent BBQ wine for every day and all occasions that all your family and friends will love, and at sub $29, it is a bargain.
Smells
a wonderful perfume wafts from the glass, violets, black liquorice, cedar, and spice.
Tastes
impressive colour, the mouthfeel is weighty but by no means heavy, rather it dances across your palate with dark chocolate, coffee grind, and blackberry flavours, finishing with cassis and kirsch notes. The finish is exceptionally long with velvety tannins. A simply irresistible wine for today through 2026+. Best served with a juicy cut of prime beef.
