Smells
beguiling notes of cassis, plums, dark berries, and rose petals with sweet lifted earthy tones layered by spice and toast.
Tastes
Superb concentration, perfumed and penetrating, with a captivating poise. The density of fruit is perfectly married with the sappy, yet supple tannins giving way to the youthful, austere, and finely tuned finish. One for the cellar as 15years+ in a temperature-controlled cellar, and the results will be well worth the cost outlaid today. Serve with mushrooms, truffles, or game meats.
