Instantly it’s a world apart from the others, with a completely different and more spice driven bouquet, and savoury palate reminiscent of some of the great Burgundies. The winemaking prowess at Valli consisting of Jen Parr (NZ Winemaker of the Year) and Grant Taylor (3 times World Champion Pinot Noir maker in London) resulted in this amazing 95-100 / 100 dazzler. Drink now or cellar for 15 years comfortably, this is classic Valli Waitaki with outstanding depth and persona that can be enjoyed at any stage of its potentially long life. Amazingly elegant and refined with a subtle power; a wave of red and black cherry, berry and plum fruits infused with savoury and baking spices glide seamlessly throughout the palate.
