A beer with an almost cult-like status… HOPWIRED, by 8-Wired. This beer has seen many iterations, including Fresh Hop versions, and all formats and sizes. October 2022 see’s its first time being canned into a 440ml vessel.
This might IPA is one of the true leaders in the uber-hopped NZ IPA that have shaken life into the palates of jaded beer drinkers everywhere. With sweet caramel and toffee fighting off the resiny, grapefruit, lime and passionfruit before a bone-chillingly bitter finish, this is overtly hoppy beer with 70 IBU a good whack of alcohol sweetness at 7.3%.
