An Exclusive Evening with Barone Ricasoli
Over 800 Years of Tuscan Excellence
Join us for an intimate evening celebrating one of Tuscany's most historic wine families, as we open eight exceptional Barone Ricasoli wines - exclusively imported for Fine Wine Delivery – accompanied by canapés from one of Auckland’s longstanding Italian dining favourites, Andiamo.
The Ricasoli family has been intrinsically linked with Brolio and the wines of Chianti Classico since 1141. This remarkable history comes to life for one night with special guest Giovanni Masucci of Ricasoli Winery, who will personally guide us through the wines, sharing stories from the estate, insight into their vineyards and winemaking, and the character behind each bottle.
You’ll have the rare opportunity to taste eight Ricasoli wines side by side, from Metodo Classico and Chardonnay through to Chianti Classico Riserva and three outstanding single-vineyard Gran Selezione wines – discovering the differences in terroir, style and craftsmanship as you go.
To complete the experience, each wine flight will be accompanied by Italian-inspired canapés from Andiamo, with their Head Chef Canada Loucks joining us in the kitchen to prepare and serve the dishes throughout the evening.
