Description
Bathtub Gin is a generic term for a bootleg, home-made spirit, though there haven't been any corners cut in this sensational, expensively crafted, boutique gin from the very talented Ableforth's distillery in the U.K. Exotic botanicals include juniper, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, orange peel and clove, which are then added gently to the highest quality copper pot-still spirit using an old-fashioned method called cold compounding. The rare Sri Lankan cinnamon used here has imbued this gin with a subtle copper gold colour and luscious mouthfeel.
Smells
fresh juniper berries leap from the glass with citrus, orange peel cardamom and cinnamon notes add to an enticing nose.
Tastes
Strong juniper flavours combine with brown spices; cloves, coriander, and cardamom for added depth. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, simply divine.
