Description
Crafted from the company's oldest reserves and served in a striking decanter, this XO rum is double matured, first in ex-Bourbon barrels in the Caribbean before being shipped to Chateau Bonbonnet for final maturation in cognac casks. Great with or without a cigar, it should be served neat to properly savour its richness and viscosity. Perfect for the colder months!
Smells
Pouring the colour of old mahogany, the nose is packed with sugarcane, brown sugar, golden syrup, coconut, toffee, vanilla and the perfumed cedar inside of an old humidor.
Tastes
a sublimely creamy entry to the palate with sweet vanilla and caramel flavours finely interwoven with toasted oak notes giving a long dry finish.
