Description
Haha Brut Cuvee is a new discovery this year that impressed us with its freshness, clean fruit, racy acidity and subtle yeasty, nutty autolysis. A 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the secondary fermentation happens in tank, rather than in bottle, allowing a more competitive price and a beautifully fresh, pure character. Many components were aged for up to 5 years on lees, imbuing the wine with classy Champagne-like characters at a fraction of the cost!
Smells
Piercingly fresh and pure aromas of apples, lemon tart and white peach, with subtle toast and brioche.
Tastes
Juicy and generous with lovely purity and focus, the delicate bead flows effortlessly to long, dry finish filled with Chardonnay stonefruit. A real standout find this year, it is perfect for entertaining al fresco this summer.
