Beach House have had a charmed run at the wine shows of late, this Cabernet Franc I am sure, will also claim many accolades. Many commentators regard this Cabernet Franc as the finest one in the country, and after tasting this rich, velvety, and fragrant example, it's hard to find the strength to argue.
Smells
Lifted violet florals, cassis, cedar, plum, tobacco and dark chocolate.
Tastes
Richly layered and very silky, but with a surprising and well concealed structure that assures you it will cellar well too. A beautiful example of a grape that doesn't often headline in New Zealand, Beach House Cabernet Franc will be at its best between 2022 and 2026. Perfect with your favourite BBQ’ed meats
