Founded in 1850 in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, Bleasdale is one of Australia’s oldest family wineries and a benchmark for Cabernet-based blends. The Frank Potts cuvée named in honour of the estate’s pioneering founder, showcases Langhorne Creek’s unique terroir, where cooling breezes from Lake Alexandrina temper warm days, producing reds of both generosity and poise. The 2020 vintage continues this tradition, blending Cabernet Sauvignon with Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Shiraz for a wine of layered complexity and enduring elegance.
Smells
Deep and brooding, blackcurrant, mulberry and dark plum are underscored by notes of violets, cigar box, graphite and a subtle lift of dried herbs.
