With 172 years and five generations of family ownership, Yalumba remains at the forefront of quality and innovation in Australian winemaking. Sourced from the renowned Menzies Vineyard, established in 1975, this Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the exceptional fruit quality of its terroir. Aged for 18 months in high-quality oak barriques, the oak is seamlessly integrated, enhancing the wine’s depth and complexity. A beautifully crafted expression of Coonawarra Cabernet—rich, refined, and built to impress.
Smells
Classic dark berry, dried herb, spice, and brooding underbrush aromas of high-quality Cabernet.
Tastes
This wine bursts onto the palate with sweet, dark Cabernet fruits… Complex herb/spice and dried earth characters emerge through the mid-palate, and it all comes to a delicious crescendo supported by soothing tannins and juicy acidity. Very stylish, composed, and a tasty Cabernet, best enjoyed with a wide range of meat dishes or a charcoal grilled steak… now through 2030+. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
