Merlot in all of its opulence and glory, aged in American oak for 12 months, giving layer upon layer of coconut complexity.
Smells
a complex bouquet of deep, dark, ripe blackberries and mulberries underpinned by dark, bitter chocolate, fresh coffee beans with a dusting of cinnamon and coconut.
Tastes
warm flavours of black cherry and plums, interwoven with sandalwood, vanilla, and cola nuances. The mouth-watering entry impresses giving way to a juicy mid-palate with silky smooth tannins with lingering mocha and coconut notes on the long, luxurious finish. Pair with margherita pizza, aged cheddar, or pate. For optimal drinking pleasure serve at 16-17 degrees.
