Description
Terra Sancta produce three vastly different single vineyard Pinot Noirs designed to highlight the unique terroirs they offer. Even though all three single vineyard Pinots are produced from different blocks on one estate in Felton Road, Bannockburn, they are distinctly different in style and structure. Shingle Beach is wonderfully perfumed and elegant whilst still exuding the richness and power this sub-region is renowned for. A case of Bannockburn’s power and Burgundy’s finesse resulting in a striking Pinot Noir that everyone is sure to bestow 5 stars on, including ourselves.
Smells
Very Burgundian with fresh cherry, wild strawberry, floral, subtle savoury, and herb aromas.
Tastes
Concentrated with orchard and wild fruits, in a silky-smooth palate with complex spice, savoury and herb tastes subtly evolving. Underlying power and richness constrained by juicy acids and prominent but beautifully fine tannin. Impressive composure in its youth, but the best rewards will be for those enjoying 2025-2028.
