Smells
Beautifully perfumed with Doris black plum, violet, toasted almond, layered with white pepper and spice.
Tastes
The gorgeously rounded and supple palate displays lovely fruit purity with superbly polished tannins. A Syrah that portrays the virtues of this variety and its beautiful home, Hawkes Bay. This 2020 offers outstanding drinking, the balance of fruit, tannins and structure is striking. Drinking well now through 2025 and will match well with roast lamb or beef.
