Smells
aromas of mixed forest berries, wild thyme, black plums, black pepper, anise, and hints of cola.
Tastes
the palate is deliciously accessible right now with a silky flow supported by silty, somewhat gravelly tannins. A medium weight with a juicy, almost slippery texture makes this irresistible, along with the dark berry, black liquorice, and sage flavours. It’s a charming wine on every level and will appeal to even the fussiest of tastes. Drinking well now through 2028.
