The first sip reveals a silky blend of plum, chocolate, and black olive, seamlessly woven with a subtle savoury character from time in oak. Smells
Blueberries, mulberries, blackberries, cedar with the classic white pepper notes of Hawkes Bay interwoven with other brown spices make for a heady array of aromas that excite and stimulate the senses as you find more and more descriptives with every swirl of the glass.
Tastes
A medium bodied wine with a salivating, textural vein that pleases the palate with a long, lingering finish. Strong blue fruit flavours persist with cedar, spice and toast that draw out the palate. One sip and you will agree this will be your go to BBQ wine this summer and everyone will love you for it. And it also carries a very modest price tag sub $26. A bargain not to be missed. The recommended serving temperature is 15-17 degrees.
