Smells
Fragrant and layered aromatics showing hints of Eastern spices, pepper, dark chocolate, liquorice and black currant.
Tastes
Rich and hedonistic on the palate with creamy/spicy oak flavours, dark chocolate, mint and anise complementing the velvety dark fruit, brooding and rich through to the long, nuanced finish. Hard to think of any Australian red wine that's comparable for the money, this will be magic with rich red meat and game dishes, olive and tomato ragu.
