Smells
A generous nose of deep, dark, plush fruits, blackberry, mulberry, coffee, choc-mocha and vanilla aromas opening further with hints of liquorice, and violets.
Tastes
The savoury palate shows plums and sweet spices leading onto lovely moreish tannins. Rich, filling and complete with a dark, bitter chocolate finish, resonating throughout and a touch of warmth adding that final tickle. Superb drinking now through 2028 and serve with red meats. For optimal drinking pleasure, the recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
