Description

The Pecorino grape is a true comeback story—a once-forgotten variety brought back from the brink of extinction. Today, it produces wines of remarkable elegance and precision. Tenuta Ulisse Terre di Chieti Pecorino is sourced from the Terre di Chieti IGP in Abruzzo. It stands as a benchmark, seamlessly combining power with a smooth, polished texture and is widely regarded as one of Abruzzo’s finest white wines. Crafted by the team at Tenuta Ulisse in a vibrant, New World style, this wine could easily be seen as Italy’s answer to Sauvignon Blanc—bright, expressive, and irresistibly fresh.

Smells

Vibrant Passionfruit aromas jump out of the glass with citrus and subtle white florals.

Tastes

The palate is wonderfully fresh with lemon zest, passion and white stone fruit, perfect acidity and a saline freshness. This is tight, classy pecorino that would excel with food and be deliciously different… a talking point around the dinner table. Drinking well now through 2028 and will partner with fresh seafood, cheese or fresh salads. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
