Description

Pinot Grigio is all about freshness, lightness, and approachability, and this example from Veneto hits all the right notes. Harvested early to preserve those zesty green apple and pear characters, it's crafted in a style that's crisp, dry and effortlessly refreshing—perfect for easy sipping any day of the week. The grapes thrive in loose, dry floodplain soils rich in subsoil, which helps deliver purity of fruit and a clean mineral finish. After a gentle whole bunch press and cool fermentation, the wine rests on lees for a few months, adding just a touch of soft texture and mouthfeel without losing any of its vitality. This is classic Pinot Grigio done right—simple, satisfying, and sure to be a crowd-pleaser, whether enjoyed on its own or alongside light Mediterranean fare.

Smell:
Enticing aromas of melon, almond and citrus with hints of minerality and yeasty dough.

Tastes:
It is extra-dry with a lively seam of acidity promoting the fresh primary fruit flavours of apple, pear and citrus zest. A perfect accompaniment for fresh fish and cherry tomatoes, prosciutto ham and melon, fresh creamy cheeses. Drinking well now through 2027. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
