This is an extreme twist on an Oud Bruin… why an ‘extreme twist’ well, 8-Wired have super-charged this traditional Flanders by aging it for 5 years in large oak foedres (large wine barrels), the result after all this time and with the aid of wild yeasts is an 11% complex, slightly sour, slightly rich and subtly oak beverage. This is a complex beer for connoisseurs of the finer things, those who like sour beer, sherry or even dry wine – a seriously special beer that needs to be tasted to be believed.
