Pilsner

Pilsners are characterised by a light to medium body, high carbonation with apparent hop character and a slightly bitter finish. NZ Pilsner is now an official beer judging category, made famous by the likes of Emersons and Tuatara Pilsner. NZ Pilsner’s are more aggressively hopped, often showcasing citrus and tropical fruit characters.
