Southward Distilling's ethos is all about sharing great stories over great drinks. The small-batch distillery, based on Cuba Street, Wellington, produces a popular range of gins and spirits with daring flavour profiles. We recently came across the range and was extremely impressed with the high quality and bursts of flavour.
Their Mountain Gin is Crisp and refreshing, it offers a delightful interplay between bright citrus notes, where lemon and orange peel shine, and a herbaceous quality from the coriander and cardamom. There's a whisper of peppery warmth in the background, providing depth and character to the gin.
