Description
Don't be fooled by the celebrity endorsement of founder George Clooney, Casamigos is a Tequila brand based on quality. Only the finest 100% Blue Weber agaves are hand-selected from the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, before a long 80-hour fermentation process with select yeasts by their master distiller. The Casamigos Reposado bottling is aged for 7 months in oak.
Smells
strong notes of blue agave finely interwoven with smoke, vanilla and even notes of peanut shells.
Tastes
a soft, gently oaky Tequila with hints of caramel and cocoa and a silky texture building to a long, smooth finish.
