A signature blend from Four Roses, this Small Batch Bourbon is crafted by marrying four of the distillery’s ten distinctive recipes; aged 6-7 years, bottled at 45% ABV. It represents a harmonious balance of rich fruit and subtle spice, oak and caramell, a bourbon made for both depth and approachability.
Smells
The nose greets you with rich orchard fruit and red berries, overlaid with sweet oak, vanilla, and caramel. Behind that are soft whispers of baking spices.
Tastes
On the palate it is full and vibrant: juicy red berry fruits intertwine with dried spice and mellow rye heat. Vanilla sweetness, subtle caramel, and toasted oak provide body, while a touch of honeyed richness and soft spice carry through. The mouthfeel is smooth and enveloping, not heavy, but richly satisfying.
Finish:
The finish lingers gracefully, soft oak and sweet toffee fade into cinnamon and gentle dried fruit. There’s a warm, comforting spice note that remains.
