Description
Campbeltown, back in the Victorian era, was once the whisky capital of the world. It was one of five distinct, unique, malt producing regions of outstanding quality in Scotland. Glen Scotia is now one of only three, very important distillers that remain, still crafting beautiful, ethereal whiskies such as this deep charred oak classic. I first tried this heavenly whisky at a very large International whisky tasting and it sang to my ancient Scotia DNA. This rich, heavily charred whisky from the 'wee-Toon' is one of my personal favourites that you must try! A classic.
Smells
warm brown sugar, citrus peel and subtle nutty and oaky aromas.
Tastes
It's bursting with flavours of sweet organic blackcurrants, cocoa, cr¨¨me brulee, homemade chocolate fudge and luxuriantly spiced fruits.
